get out he hairspray!

Don't believe everything that you hear. You've heard that epic is the substandard stepson of Gibson, but don't buy that. This was my 1st ;serious; guitar after a 20 year layoff. bought it at one of the superstores after doing some (very little) research. Bought it for several reasons. 1) it looked REALLY cool 2) it was comfortable to play standing and seated 3) it was ALL black 4) it came w/ a practice amp 5) it was $200 6) did I mention that it looks cool?

Anyway, this has been my go to and main practice guitar forever. A few years ago I traded out the pups for a JB and a JAZZ and the ONLY thing I would change now a days is the pup covers. I'd swap them for black if I could. But from what I've seen that appears to be more of a pain than its worth.

The neck on this feels awesome, the hardware is VERY nice at any price. Now obviously I eventually decided that the pups weren't cutting it, but even that was over a year after I bought it. Actually I decided that it was going to be my 1st ;. I had heard so much about the JB and JAZZ combo that I figured I HAD to have it. So off to ebay I went and $87 and some solder later it's off and running!

Of course the makeup of this guitar has very little, if any, affect on these pups, so if you know what they sound like great otherwise look fro the clip. I just wish I had some before clips fro you to compare it to.
